This problem has been bothering me for a while, and now I'm hoping to resolve it. I'm unsure what might have led to this, but when using Windows media player or editing software like Davinci Resolve, the video won't play properly. It doesn't even report an unknown format, yet VLC works without issues. This issue occurs with various formats, not just MKV. Besides reinstalling the operating system, are there other steps I can take to address it?
