Bricked GIGABYTE G5 KC model
Bricked GIGABYTE G5 KC model
I put in the incorrect BIOS firmware and the laptop remains black with flashing RGB lights, stays on blue and powers off repeatedly. It auto-reloads. Can I reset it by using a USB and entering a key combination? Or do I need a small programmer tool to reset the 8-pin MOSFET on the motherboard? I've already tried removing the CMOS battery but it didn't help. Thanks.
Unpowered bios re-flashing is uncommon on laptops. It might require assistance from the maker. The guide should clarify this.
