Brand new ram stick is dead?
Hi everyone, previously we talked about my PC not booting and the alarm light coming up. I figured out the issue—it’s related to a RAM stick (Corsair Vengeance Pro 16x2 3200). One stick works fine, getting me through the BIOS screen, but the other one shows the alert light. I’ve tested both good and bad sticks at positions 2 and 4; the good ones work alone, while the bad one doesn’t. Even when both are together, it doesn’t boot. Since the bad stick is causing problems, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Also, if I can’t resolve it myself (I have a warranty), what should I do next? Thanks!
