Core Temp 1.16 shows the lowest, highest, and current temperature for every core along with how much power each one uses. If my first guess is right, hitting temperatures between 74C and 79C means I'm running a bit hot. The article also says not to go over 85C. I thought different chips would run at different temps, but mine are already quite high on idle (around 35C) or under load (65C). When I run Cinebench R20 with all cores at 100%, the max temp jumps to 74-79C. Am I safe right now, or should I pull back slightly? For my overclocking setup, I didn't manually change voltages; I'm letting the motherboard control it. My native speed is 3.3GHz, and I changed my multiplier to 49 so I can run at 4.9GHz.

Cinebench R20 isn't fast enough to tell you about heat. Try running Prime95 with the small FFT option, but no special software features like AVX, for more than thirty minutes and check how hot it gets.

Why do you want to run C20 in a loop? Is it really worth it then?
