Recently, I assembled two new computer systems for myself and my spouse.

My system includes a Ryzen 7-3700X processor, 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, an RX 5700 graphics card, a 1 TB solid-state drive, and a 2TB/4TB hard disk combination with a 1440p 95 Hz monitor.

My spouse’s system features a Ryzen 5-2600 processor, 16 GB of DDR4-3000 memory, a GTX 1660 graphics card, a 512 TB solid-state drive, a 1 TB hybrid hard drive, a 1 TB standard hard drive, and a 1080p 60 Hz monitor (with the potential to add a supplementary 1600x900 display, though it’s unlikely).

I'm seeking game recommendations that will effectively utilize the capabilities of these machines.

We both avoid fast-paced first-person shooter games.

She enjoys puzzle games, role-playing games (specifically turn-based or pause-and-execute style), and hidden object titles. I recently purchased her a copy of the latest Call of Cthulhu.

I am drawn to slower-paced shooters (such as World Of Tanks/Warships), role-playing games, and classic massively multiplayer online games.

Skyrim
Astroneer
No Man’s Sky
Kerbal Space Program
…all expansive space adventures aside from Skyrim
Portal
Portal 2
Slay the Spire
Ascension
The Talos Principle
…though the sole one potentially demanding significant system resources is Skyrim…but I believe they are all enjoyable titles, with the exception of No Man’s Sky which can occasionally feel lengthy and Astroneer, which I've experienced briefly.

Let me add another one that will demand a strong system;
Obduction
.
If she enjoys that, Cyan's latest, soon to be released
Firmament
will be another system-demanding game.
Not as system demanding, but also an intriguing game is
Haven Moon
.
You may like
prey
for a RPG shooter.
