It's accurate that 2200g is among the lower-end CPUs. Expect it to deliver less performance compared to higher-end models.

It wouldn't seem likely to severely restrict your 1060's performance...probably not enough to ruin your rest. Sadly, it would cause a major slowdown in the 2070s.

Sounds logical. I’m set to get the 2070 super, especially since the next-gen Nvidia cards drop. Likely time to move to a Ryzen 7 3800X or similar for better performance.
