I just watched Linus's video about bottlenecking systems. I was wondering if my computer was limited by the processor or something else, since other people’s tests show my FPS is usually around 20 or less. If it’s a CPU issue, should I upgrade to a Ryzen 3 2200G, a new motherboard, and some DDR4 2667 RAM? Here are my details:

Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3
CPU: AMD FX-8320e OCed to 4 GHz
GPU: GTX 1050ti Windforce
RAM: Viper Patriot 2x4GB DDR3 1800 MHz
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Blue Edition SSD
Storage: 256 GB Samsung 850 Evo Pro
PSU: 500W Thermal
Case: Core v21 Thermal

I didn't include the fact that I enjoy playing Old School Runescape, which works well. The problem lies with RS3 (Runescape 3), the updated version. It struggles to run at 1080p with 60+ frames per second, even though a 1050Ti GPU should handle it. Users claim it should work but often see only 40fps.

There could be a minor slowdown. It’s best to consider Ryzen by the end of the year; the FX lineup didn’t perform well even at launch.

It seems like your CPU isn't the main issue, and fixing it might not be worth the cost.

If updates remain in Java, its performance is impressive. Similar to Minecraft, your CPU feels older, yet in a GPU-intensive game it may go unnoticed.
