When you enable auto-sync on either laptop, they default to a different time zone than GMT -6:00. Clicking the zone change resets them back to -8:00, even if you previously disabled it. Using manual settings causes websites to perceive the clock as two hours behind. This inconsistency is frustrating—do you have any way to correct it?

Have you considered using a CMOS reset? A few devices depend on RTC and timekeeping in BIOS. It's always a good idea to try it.
