Both computers are failing to show up and won't power off unless the power supply is shut down.
Yesterday while using Football Manager, my PC froze and kept running. After turning the power back on, it would either enter BIOS and then stop showing or jump to Windows Login and repeat the same. Each time it stopped, the fans increased speed as if under heavy load. I replaced the RAM and thermal paste, but temperatures stayed normal when checking BIOS. Now the PC doesn’t boot at all. I borrowed my brother’s GPU hoping it was the cause, but that didn’t help. After he reinstalled his own GPU, the same problems appeared. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X GTX 1060 with 3GB RAM, Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming, and two 8GB sticks (EVGA 650W GQ Corsair Vengeance). Any advice? Please let me know if you need more help!
It seems your PSU could be harming the hardware, or maybe the motherboard is the issue. I’d advise against restarting with that PSU and try a different one for testing. This might have damaged your brother’s GPU as well.
