Consider checking each one individually or in pairs until the defective stick is identified. When there are just two sticks, it becomes simpler. Memtest86 and Memtest86+ can also assess RAM, though a Passmark test would likely confirm no issues.
ok one stick was bad it seems others are ok. im trying to wipe an m.2 drive and my motherboards secure erase is dead....hhmmmm ? anyone recommend a solution instead of doing a wipe, i would like to use a reset instead ??? isn't this easier on m.2 to set them all to zeros ? its an older system, I know its time, but if i can scrape through the next few months it might be helpful....thank you in advance for your time and help
Everything seems stable now after cleaning the M.2 slot. A new 64 GB of RAM is arriving, which should help with the stability issue. I currently have 40 GB installed, and even though the timing is different, performance has improved significantly. I swapped out a fan—my NZXT model broke, probably due to a bad plastic mix. The temperatures look much better now. I plan to replace eight 120mm fans, preferring the Thermaltake ring in blue. Any suggestions or feedback on fan choices would be appreciated. Thanks!
