So the game is about to end and I’m eager to dive into something exciting, but I feel like I’ve tried almost everything new lately. My gaming style has been pretty diverse, and I usually enjoy RPGs. Back in the early TBC I enjoyed Final Fantasy, but I moved to World of Warcraft when it first launched and kept playing until early WoD when things took a turn for the worse than before. After leaving WoD last year, I’ve been jumping from game to game—MMOs included—to see what’s interesting, but I’m still struggling to find something that really hooks me. The closest I’ve gotten was Witcher 3. Here’s a quick list of games I’ve played: MMOs like WOW, SOTR, RIFT, FF14, Secret World, and I was really excited about World of Darkness back then. I also tried Destiny, Witcher 3 (again), BF4, COD, Fear, DOOM, Titanfall, Skyrim, GTA V, Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and I’m looking forward to Division with a beta. I’ve also played Far Cry 4, Battlefield, Mass Effect: Partners, and all the Final Fantasy titles (except the last one). I’m still figuring out what I want—maybe a solid MMO or RPG would be perfect.
Dragon Age collection. Two realms II (it's actually good) Rift (the first one is also decent)
Single-player adventure game with engaging narrative. Current GOTY deal available. Path of Exile style. Diablo-inspired hack-and-slash with intricate skill system.
Right now I’m really into Life is Strange. It doesn’t quite match any of the usual categories, but it’s worth about two dollars.
I'll check it out, thanks! I finished it and it was a great game. I own this, I'm about 20% through, but the story feels flat. I keep hearing about two worlds. I'll take another look. I didn't like Diable, and point-and-click didn't suit me—DA:Origins was disappointing for me. It's cheap, so I'll give it another shot! Appreciate the feedback.
