Looking for advice on achieving this setup? I'm really unsure how to do it. I need the game to run at 1440p, work smoothly in Borderless with easy alt-tab support, and fill my entire screen (28 inches) without any gaps. I have a 4K monitor, so basically a borderless window at a lower native resolution but covering the whole display. For every game, especially Skyrim SE, I'd appreciate a consistent solution. Thanks in advance!

You can reduce the display resolution. It’s better to play at 4K instead; screens look poor at lower resolutions.

Basic gameplay with heavy modifications. At 1440p it runs smoothly at around 60fps, ideal for the project I'm making on the GTX 1080 Strix. Switching to 4K drops to about 40fps, especially noticeable in tree-heavy sections. The visuals are stunning at 1440p, but streaming at 1080p60 makes it impractical to play in higher resolution. I just need it to fill the entire screen. It's tricky to put it simply... In short, I'm streaming at 1080p60 while recording locally at 1440p60, and I can't run 4K without losing performance.

The application supports full-screen or borderless windowed mode with spacing around it.

The phrase refers to keeping my desktop visible around the window area, but you want it to stay fixed in place rather than moving with the screen. You mentioned having a lot of screen space and want to make full use of it without constantly changing settings.

Open the application in full screen. Zooming works, though it creates a disorganized setup.

I understand you're open to suggestions, but this isn't the path I'm aiming for. Using full screen complicates handling other windows I need (like the streaming app and chat interface), and often requires restarting the whole game just to switch tabs. This isn't about personal play preferences—it's about delivering a polished experience for your audience and meeting the requirements you've outlined.

In windowed mode, the application uses the desktop's screen resolution. A borderless window remains in windowed mode, meaning you must adjust the game's resolution on the desktop to change it.
