just in case anyone watched the frame chasers dribble and truly needs to improve those 1 percent lows, here’s what you should do on NVIDIA high settings with DLSS quality. Use Gen X2 RTSS async frame, cap at 120, and rack up about 20 hours in-game. Aim for an average of 1% lows and lock at 120. I experienced a minor stutter every so often, around every 20 minutes. This works in both combat and open world scenarios—not just the test room. Avoid running the game on low settings; it looks terrible. It’s mainly a way to boost performance for sales. Deleting the shader cache and setting it to unlimited in the driver helped, and reloading the shaders made a noticeable difference. I’m happy to share a video if you want to see the FPS here: https://youtu.be/jq8_TUbkjPM?si=6-uK9VVYswjHPzd5
It's surprising how much extra effort is needed to fine-tune a video game, since most titles are already somewhat optimized or improved over time through updates.
It seems unlikely there will ever be that many optimization videos for it. Regardless of the frame rate, it still experiences the same stutter and FPS drops. The async frame limit adds a frame to the buffer, letting it handle single frame drops by having a backup frame.
The brief pause every 20 minutes, I experience too, but restarting my setup lets me play continuously without any interruptions.
