It's always possible to enhance something, but someone or something will undermine it and push it back for profit. They'll keep the improvements intact while creating more challenges ahead.

It seems we might need to accept our differences.

They earned their rightful recognition. The Steam platform offers a wide range of tools, such as Epic, Origin, and Uplay. I’m fine if the game is accessible across all devices, giving us the flexibility to decide where to purchase it.

I'm not too concerned because it's a PC, so I don't need to purchase new hardware like a console-exclusive.

Absolutely nothing is causing concern. It's just bothersome to have so many apps. Right now I'm using Battlenet, Origin and Steam. I plan to remove Battlenet soon because I no longer play CoD BO4.

I prefer fewer apps too. Battle net just caught my attention, but it falls short compared to what Steam provides. Another thing is I believe Steam has better or more focused developers aiming for visibility, recommending games tailored to what I enjoy, which I wouldn’t discover on my own.

It’s unique to Epic that I’ll receive BL3 from Codex. I stand against their anti-consumer tactics. It’s acceptable for EA to release EA games only on Origin, or Ubisoft to keep its titles on Uplay, and for Fortnite to launch solely on Epic’s platform. Yet it’s concerning when a company owns an IP without its own rights, restricts releases to specific platforms for a set period, and ignores community feedback. The lack of support, poor forum engagement, unclear refund policies, security issues, data misuse, ties to Tencent, and attempts to silence reviews all point to a toxic stance. Epic Games is clearly harmful to the gaming world.
