Hey everyone, I'm really surprised my game crashed after just running for five minutes. I have no clue what's wrong here. It works perfectly on Horizon Zero Dawn until now, but when I try to load BL3, it crashes right away in about three to five minutes of playing. My computer specs are: Ryzen 5900x, Corsair 32GB RAM at 3600 speed, an MSI X570S Tomahawk motherboard with AM4 socket and Max WiFi, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and I'm running it at 3440 by 1440 resolution. Here is the picture of where my game went wrong (Imgur): Borderlands 3 crash

You should tell me what brand and model of power supply unit you have, plus how old it is. Please let me know which version of the BIOS is running on your motherboard right now. Also, what computer operating system are you using? Where did you get those game installers from? If you can try removing the graphics card drivers with a tool like DDU and then reinstalling them as an admin user, that might work better than just trying it normally.

Hey, I just tried turning my memory speed down from 3600MHz to 2133MHz and it didn't crash. Yet... why spend so much money on fast RAM when games run better at lower speeds? LOL

I'll probably try to reset the CMOS first, then check if I can set up the BIOS with specific timing, voltage, and frequency to see if the system runs smoothly when overclocked. What kind of slots is this happening in for your motherboard?

I just changed my RAM back to 3600MHz and turned my game into Windowless Border Fullscreen, moving from DX11 to DX12. It's working okay at the moment. Weird stuff happens sometimes. Since it is a Ryzen card, maybe switching from DX11 (using one core) to DX12 (using multiple cores) helped too because it puts less stress on just one core?
