Everything is running at maximum settings, including PhysX. It’s normal for the game to drop to around 30 FPS or less when using the scatter gun at close range with many particles. You might want to lower PhysX to medium.

PhysX might be responsible for the issue.

You own a 660ti and push it to its limits, but BL2 is consistently struggling lately.

It seems like you're asking about something that's not working well. Could you clarify what you mean by "running crap atm"?

PhysX is definitely active on your CPU. It's unlikely your setup would cause the frame rate to fall to 30 FPS.

It's been a while since I last used an Nvidia card, but everything should now be managed through the Nvidia control panel. Or perhaps just reinstalling PhysX would help.

Turn off PhysX and start playing; if nothing changes, it might mean something is occurring, even though PhysX isn't useful to me.
