You've recently returned to gaming and noticed your Borderlands 2 crashes on launch. After restarting the launcher, you can play normally, but opening menus causes issues. The only change since your last Windows 10 installation is that. Anyone can assist?

I reinstalled the game and verified the drivers. It seems the studio behind Borderlands shut down the development site and paused the project, leaving no chance for official responses. I’m using Windows 10 and can play smoothly.

I've handled it three times, switched the installation directory, reinstalled Steam and Borderlands, updated drivers, tested compatibility settings, and run as administrator both inside and outside compatibility mode. I'm getting really frustrated.

Remove the game and clear the Borderlands 2 folder from documents/my games, after that reinstall.

I was unmotivated due to having almost 3TB of data to back up before a clean installation.

Yes, you're right. A clean installation usually requires wiping the partition beforehand.
