I installed this switch and received a serial to USB cable. I mistakenly didn’t verify if it was a null modem. Once fixed and confirming the cable, the switch still shows base mode on its back. I double-checked the serial connection via Device Manager, confirmed the COM port matches, ensured flow control is off, and verified keystrokes reach the port. I’m stuck now—with the cable I see data flowing, but I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve tried other troubleshooting steps, including Ctrl+Y and pressing Enter twice. Thanks for any help!
