I use Windows but wanted to move to Manjaro KDE Plasma on a separate drive. When I try to boot from Windows, it goes back to the screen where I pick the boot option. Manjaro is running smoothly too, but I can still reach my Windows partition or log in. Please let me know since I still have many files that need backing up.

Check the disk utility for the partition view. Try starting in BIOS and verifying Windows is listed as a boot choice.

Windows is available as a boot choice. I reached the advanced troubleshooting section and found an option to exit and restart into Windows 10, which I chose.

I initially used a dual-boot setup with a Linux distribution and another OS on the same drive. I discovered that for optimal performance, each operating system should reside on its own dedicated drive. Running both on the same hardware is possible but not ideal, as it can cause conflicts. When I faced difficulties accessing GRUB to choose the correct OS, I managed to boot from the BIOS. Have you explored this method?

Yes, but it still required going back to the base to pick the OS.
