I attempted to install Windows via BootCamp. After downloading drivers and setting up a partition, I reached the language load screen where the keyboard and trackpad stopped responding. I looked online and found driver problems, especially with USB 3 drives. Some suggested restarting everything and recreating the partition. I tried that too, but it didn’t work. My MacBook Air is from 2013.

I've set up Windows using Bootcamp before on my MacBook Air (2012), but that was on OS X Mountain Lion. I'm not sure about trying it under OS X Yosemite yet. If you encounter any problems, it might be worth contacting Apple.
