Creating a bootable USB would let it start directly into Windows 10. Using it from the C drive would function like a regular USB drive.

Choose the USB for the main boot device in your BIOS, then after installation you can simply format the drive and use it normally.

Press F12 to boot, then enter the boot screen key. Choose USB if prompted. If it fails, try tools like winusb.
