Occasionally you can disable certain company splash screens in a prebuilt system BIOS, but not always. I experienced a slow HP setup due to a persistent RAID configuration check. My refurbished Dell Latitude boots faster than my custom-built AM4 machine, except for the prominent Dell logo. The BIOS settings can be checked for options like F2; if none are available, it’s fine. Boot times are designed for casual use rather than performance.

Earlier, certain systems would require around ten minutes for the operating system to boot and for everything else to load.

For some reason Intel's i9 processors boot slow. I recently watched Nexus Gamers a few weeks back criticizing it. Just the i9's not the i5's or i7's. Performance wise it's fine. It's just has a slow boot for some odd reason.

I get that a different processor would help, but it still has an i9. The laptop boots in just 10 seconds, which is really fast for me. This is really frustrating (more than I should feel).

The I9 laptop and I9 desktop processors differ. There seems to be some inaccuracies regarding the RAM test results. The motherboard BIOS should allow enabling or disabling RAM testing at startup. The Task Manager startup tab displays the last BIOS time. With my I9, it’s 12.3 seconds. This matters when using a cold start—loading components one by one versus fast startup which loads sequentially. Avoid shutting down completely. Instead, use sleep to ram and skip hibernate. This keeps the PC and monitors in a low-power state similar to full power off, making sleep/load take only a few seconds.

Verify your bios configurations.
For instance, if the bios lists an adapter as active by default yet has no connection, it may pause for about 5 to 10 seconds before determining the absence of a connection.
