Hello, I'm facing an issue with my PC's startup time. It takes about 40 seconds even though it's using an SSD. I've updated the BIOS and restarted the CMOS, and I have the newest drivers installed. I recently installed Windows and was expecting it to boot in under 10 seconds, but my high-end system still lags. The PCPartPicker list shows it's working, but I'm not seeing the optimal performance. Can you help?

That's one of Ryzen's small faults. until you have AGESA 1.0.0.6, then the DDR4 will take a while to train before the boot. maybe try disabling the BIOS settings for DDR4 Training?

I'll attempt it and share the outcome within two minutes.

Update the BIOS to load optimized defaults. Start with just your OS drive connected and no other devices. Use only a keyboard, mouse, and display powered on during boot. Check if these changes improve performance.

The game offers a solid experience, but many players focus heavily on quick startup times. People are drawn to fast boot times because they reflect performance and efficiency.

I've observed a slight improvement in my 1700 boots after the AGESA 1.0.0.6 BIOS update, though unless you're frequently powering the PC throughout the day, I don't fully understand the significance of a 20-second boost. Personally, I have many programs set to launch on startup, so it's easier to just jump around and relax. During quieter periods, I'd suggest putting the PC to sleep rather than shutting it down completely.

Check your BIOS settings directly in the game. If you can’t find it, try restarting the PC or checking the manual for the correct location. Knowing this feature could improve boot time, which might make your gaming experience smoother and more enjoyable.

I'd rather not wait two minutes for AviMark to start and load my patient files. For a more typical scenario, Displayfusion may take a bit longer to initialize.

My computer should be ready for me, always. If I have to wait, it needs to be working well or something must be repaired.
