make sure BIOS is current, reset BIOS, turn on XMP/EXPO, re-enable SAM, enable Secure Boot, open Command Prompt as admin, run sfc /scannow, then shut down. I don’t think Secure Boot alone is the cause personally.

Bios is the most recent version, and all the drivers are up-to-date as well. I'll give it another shot with what you suggested. I don't believe secure boot is the main issue, but I do think it might be leading to something else that's disrupting things.

Therefore, without Secure Boot Vanguard, the system can't operate properly. If you turn on Secure Boot Vanguard, you'll notice the typical slowdowns—this isn't due to Secure Boot itself. Simply remove Vanguard and stop using Furmark; switch to Firestrike instead. Furmark is an overly demanding tool that doesn't actually reflect real performance.

I removed valorant and tried to reinstall it again, and it looks like a problem might be present. After removing valorant, other games functioned normally, including furmark. It seems the game is putting a lot of strain on the GPU, which matches the high load I experienced in God of War 4. I'm using the 1080p setting now.

I had a similar issue before. Now I think it has nothing to do with Vanguard or secure boot. I suggest opening Event Viewer via Win + X → Windows Logs → System. There you’ll likely find many warnings and errors, especially when lag happens. Review those alerts and errors during slow times. From my experience, the Realtek PCIe GbE Family controller reported a hardware IO error. I visited their site and installed the newest driver—the one doesn’t support power saving mode, which probably conflicts with Windows 11, causing automatic restarts that led to lag. Hope this helps. Feel free to reply if it still doesn’t resolve. I also updated other drivers, but I’m not sure it made a difference.

Have you discovered a way to resolve this problem? I'm also facing the same challenge in Valorant.
