I recently purchased a setup featuring a Ryzen 7500f, an ASRock A620M with HDV M.2 slot, and a Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge. It functions smoothly without Secure Boot, but activating it causes noticeable slowdowns after just a few minutes—especially important for Valorant. The performance drops so much that my FURMark score can spike into the 5000+ range, whereas it should typically sit in the 11k+ range. Have you encountered this problem before?
I also suspected it wasn't normal behavior. I ran a Cinebench R23 and Furmark stress test—temperatures stayed below 75°C for both CPU and GPU. When Secure Boot was disabled, there was no noticeable lag; with Secure Boot enabled, the system experienced frequent screen freezes, delays, and skipped frames. I also played God of War 4 for two hours or more without Secure Boot off. The CPU temps were around the mid-60s, and the GPU hovered near low 70s, matching the specs for the 3070. With Secure Boot active, the game started lagging after about five minutes, followed by a freeze screen every 3 to 4 minutes, sometimes even less.
The first picture shows Furmark operating without secure boot enabled, while the second depicts the same system with secure boot activated.
Check if the resizable bar feature is activated within your BIOS settings.

In short, the system runs fine without secure boot enabled. However, when secure boot is active, you notice delays—about every few minutes—causing the screen to freeze and making it hard to move the mouse cursor. This issue lasts roughly 4 to 5 seconds before the PC becomes responsive again.
