He experienced the same problem five days ago after installing his new PC. We found it only occurred when EXPO was set to 5800Mhz or 6000Mhz. It didn’t happen with lower clocks or when EXPO was off. Switching RAM seemed to resolve the issue. His quick solution was flashing the BIOS to reset settings, though clearing the CMOS might also help. He turned OFF EXPO until he installed the new RAM. We believe the previous RAM wasn’t faulty—just the board’s software needed an update for that specific type, which he prefers not wait for a BIOS fix.
I was okay with the 6000mhz setting and Corsair Vengeance RGB was functioning properly. I believe the issue might be with the CPU or motherboard, though I haven’t found any other suggestions. I removed the CMOS multiple times without success—it doesn’t help. The lights still come on. I have the latest BIOS for the X3D chips, but my flash BIOS button won’t work when pressed, so updating it isn’t an option.
