Boot issue following XMP profile for ASRock B550M Steel Legend R5600x
Hey there. I just upgraded my system from a 2600 on a B350m Steel Legend, trying to resolve an issue where my RAM didn’t quite hit the XMP target even though it seemed close. I’m checking if others have faced the same problem. My setup is a Ryzen 5600X with a B550M CPU, paired with a 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHz CL16 RAM. I originally bought two sets of four sticks—two Hynix C dies and two Samsung B dies. I haven’t tested one configuration versus the other yet, but I’m confident the specs match what was advertised. On my old rig, enabling XMP worked because the GPU would auto-learn and stabilize, but now it keeps flashing RGB and resetting to 2133MHz or needing a manual power cycle. Even with good settings like 2733MHz before, it’s frustrating. I’m hoping someone else has encountered this and can share any tips or fixes. Thanks!
