My computer won't start into Windows and stays stuck on the boot screen. Over the past few days, after shutting it down, it took about ten minutes before I pressed the shutdown button in Windows. Last night my monitor turned off, and even though no signal was detected, all fans kept running for roughly ten minutes before the system finally shut down. Now it hasn't moved further from the boot screen. I've performed a CMOS reset, but it didn't help. I suspect the issue might be with my boot drive—it's a three-month-old M.2 drive. Thanks in advance!

It might be a defective motherboard or power supply unit, as I experienced a similar issue previously on a much larger scale.

I faced a comparable problem earlier and changed my mb, so I’m not sure it’s the same, but yes, my psu might be the cause.

We both faced the same problem, but for me swapping out the motherboard didn't fix the issue—it was actually my PSU that was the problem.

Your Windows installation is quite old, and I've noticed some recent problems with the setup. The SSD model might help identify any manufacturing issues. Be aware that the 980 Pro version isn't expected to be favorable.

I performed a fresh Windows setup after purchasing my SSD in January 2023. My primary storage device now runs the "XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite."

In Windows it doesn't seem to be shutting down immediately after installation. Verify your BIOS settings, ensure Fast Boot is enabled, and check for any unusual configurations.
