Hey everyone... I'm not very familiar with networking, but I need to share files from my family PC on my Android phone. Right now I managed it using Windows folder sharing, but the speed is only 4-8 MB/s, which isn't enough. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the PC, the router, or maybe consider a NAS or another storage option. Buying something new isn't an option since I can't get my parents to agree.

The CPU activity is moderate while you're streaming films on your mobile device, but it increases slightly when another user accesses the computer.

I haven't verified yet... I just ran a test before and the system was off when I saw those numbers. Will recheck tomorrow (in a few hours), I haven't slept and it's already 5 in the morning.
