Hey guys, I have a 10-month-old Ryzen 5 2400G. When I check its clocks on HWmonitor after playing high-graphics games like CS:GO or Apex Legends, the clock speeds for all cores aren’t consistent and often exceed the expected boost range. For this model, the recommended speed is between 3.6 and 3.9 GHz. The monitor shows 4000 MHz or sometimes 4100 MHz during gameplay, while normal tasks like Chrome show around 3898 MHz on all cores. Why is this happening? Is it affecting the processor? Also, I’m using a single-channel APU and my RAM is overclocked.

The hwinfo command for hwmonitor is not reliable for Ryzen CPUs, as it may display incorrect speeds like 5GHz.
