Prime95 Small FFT isn't necessary. CinebenchR20 works fine in most cases. Results vary by person, and games generally don't require extreme performance.

Alright, so here's what your advice has netted me so far! Thanks so much for the tips. I'd be thrilled if you saw any more opportunities. Maybe I should post in another thread regarding the GPU to see if there's any room for improvement there. Heaven Score from 2692 to 2773 = 3% gain FPS from 106.9 to 110.1 = 3% gain 3D Mark from 7698 to 8161 = 6% gain Cinebench R15 from 639 to 666 = 4% gain Cinebench R20 1806

You could try boosting your CPU performance by upgrading your RAM. Right now it's running at 3090Mhz due to differences in BCLK OC versus the stock speed. If you were considering this change, I'd check if switching to 3200Mhz would be possible without adjusting other parameters, or if a slight voltage increase could help.

I find it interesting but not widely practiced. It involves many details. You might encounter discussions around VCCIO and VCCSA. I’m not sure if this was a concern on the Z270, though I might be mistaken. As long as the auto voltage stays below 1.25V, you should be okay—especially at higher frequencies like 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz. These voltages actually reach the CPU’s IMC rather than the DIMM slots. Try two tests: run memtest86 from a bootable USB overnight and let it complete all checks. Then perform a custom prime95 test with large FFTs (512 to 4096) and at least 75% of your RAM (12GB tested, in-place box unchecked).

Your motherboard's specifications for VCCIO and VCCSA at 3200Mhz might be insufficient. If the default DRAM voltage is 1.35V, gradually increase it by 0.05V until you reach 1.5V. Observe whether your errors improve, worsen, or remain unchanged.

According to IIRC 1.27, I'm currently running a memtest at 3033Mhz with two passes and no errors detected so far.
