I’m aiming to avoid any flaming on this question since it’s definitely unusual. I’m using an ASUS Maximus Xii Extreme and a Corsair XD5 RGB pump combo. My obsession is keeping track of pump RPM, water pressure, temperature, etc., on my cooling loop. I plan to use a display that connects to the pump’s PWM wire, while the display itself connects to the chassis fan header on the motherboard for power. I’d like the display to show the data but also have the motherboard aware of the system status. My main questions are: 1. Can I find an adapter to connect the display directly to the power supply? Any advice? 2. Should I split the pump’s PWM wire—one to the display and another to the motherboard? I assume the pump gets power from the PSU and only needs two wires for signal and 5V if that’s correct? Your thoughts are welcome, just keep in mind I’m mainly after the display.

You’ll need detailed info about the screen setup. Rainmeter works without extra gear, which is simpler. You can arrange everything to appear on your main desktop or create a secondary small display for it.

I prefer a setup that works without relying on the motherboard or any system software, so I don’t need background programs running. The design looks good for my specific needs. The wire from the device has a three-pin fan connector, but only two wires are present—likely representing positive and negative.

Attempted a search for “freezemod lsj-znrb” but found limited results. The company website states it doesn’t offer this product, though an image appears there—confusing. This raises concerns. I think connecting it to the PSU shouldn’t cause issues, but it seems there’s an embedded computer inside, making data retrieval difficult. PWM communication isn’t clear, and handling pumps with PWM feels unfamiliar. This looks like a watercooling issue that would be better addressed by specialists in that field. Another observation: the blue tint in the photos suggests old ecktachrome, possibly indicating the device is quite old.

Thanks for the response, I'll attempt to post in the water cooling area as requested.
