I assembled a PC a few months back and it’s performing well. The main issue is that I just bought an Oculus Quest 2 and am using a Gigabyte B450 Aorus M motherboard. Streaming games through my college Wi-Fi is terrible and not fun. Any recommendations for motherboards with USB C headers that support expansion cards and work with my board? P.S. I have a NZXT H510 case, so there’s front USB-C available.
I don’t have any ideas, but your motherboard has a USB C port on the back. It’s possible there’s an AMD version available. Your model is the Gigabyte Z170 HD3P CF.
For Q2 you don’t have to use USB-C, a standard A to C cable works. Another option is to turn on Windows’ mobile hotspot and link Q2’s Wi-Fi to it. This creates a direct wireless link between the PC and Q2, bypassing the unreliable school network.
