Hi, for your setup there are some solid options to consider. In scenario A with SLI support, you’d likely need an X470 or X570 board, and you’re looking for something affordable. The Asrock Fatality X470 Gaming K4 fits the budget around 160-180€ and might be on sale soon. The Asrock X470 Taichi is a bit pricier at 220-230€. For scenario B without SLI, the MSI B450 Tomahawk around 120-130€ seems like a solid pick, though you’ve noticed some confusion from manufacturers about CrossFire and SLI support. The Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 is another good choice in that price range at 210-230€.

I don't think SLI is worth the effort these days, especially since newer games no longer support it. If you're looking to cut costs, the B450 Tomahawk Max is a solid choice. For better future upgrades and if you can afford it, opt for the X570. Among the three, I'd recommend the X570-F. You might also consider the TUF X570-PLUS—it's more affordable and still delivers the essential features, while the Strix board tends to focus on extra bells and whistles.

For serious overclocking, use an X570 or X470 board and make sure the BIOS is updated. If you prefer ease, choose a B450 or B350 and apply the BIOS update.

You just assembled a 3600 system with an MSI B450-A Pro Max and it looks great.
