Good afternoon everyone. My latest build is complete, but it’s blocking updates for BIOS. It keeps displaying two codes—mainly off and on—and I haven’t managed to install Windows. This particular setup includes an MSI MAG x870 Tomahawk Wi-Fi motherboard, DDR5 Vengeance RAM (2x32GB), and a Rysen 9 9900X CPU paired with a 5070 Ti GPU. Occasionally the red CPU light and amber RAM light appear, but sometimes they stay off. The error messages are either 00 (normal) or 0d (reserved for future AMI errors). I’ve spent about five hours trying various troubleshooting steps, but nothing works. Now I’m considering moving this to an unfamiliar environment to get clearer guidance. The RAM slots are correct (2&4), and the CPU pins look undamaged.

The BIOS must be adjusted so the CPU functions properly, which is the main issue here. What method are you using to modify the BIOS?

I attempted to update using a USB drive. It was correctly set up with the file in the BIOS USB slot. The current BIOS version is December 2024, yet each time I try to flash it, it restarts with the previous image.

After several attempts, I managed to update the BIOS. New problem: SCSI is reporting error code A6 during Windows installation.
