Hey everyone, I own a 3770 i7 CPU from the third generation. I’m trying to run Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator on this machine using the 1155 socket boards. It’s running on a small HP flat desktop case with a Core i7 3770 Pro, 14GB RAM, original power supply, MSI radio 6670 GPU, two 500GB HDDs, and two 2X 500Hdd drives. The system freezes and glitches when I try higher settings, which makes playing so frustrating. I’m looking for recommendations on what to buy to improve performance and stability.

do you believe it's a cpu or a gpu issue? try using an app like gpuz while gaming to monitor gpu usage. if it stays at 100%, consider upgrading your gpu. the 3770 is close to the high end of lga 1155 cpus, so unless you see a 2-3% boost, you may need a newer processor. look for affordable options locally, but you might end up with an amd ryzen cpu on the am4 platform—don’t forget to upgrade to ddr4 ram.
