OPS3 (population count) stays active longer on the console compared to PC, which is expected. It’s perfect for playing with friends and enjoying the fun, that’s what it’s meant for. Fallout4 has many reasons for its popularity (though I’d wait until the PC updates are fixed before diving in).
I played both games. Fallout is definitely worth it, more than Cod this time.
You don’t face those problems, and none of your friends do either—it should be your issue.
Oh yeah, N=3 or 4, with no standard way of judging stability. How statistically relevant. If noone noticed input lag or in-game stutter, how come there are reddit posts and youtube tutorials out already fixing it.
Some issues seem unique to certain users, as it often remains the same for most people. When you check reviews on Steam, a large portion—about 90%—report satisfaction. Why focus on numbers? I just mentioned that among my friends, none of us face the same problems you do, so it must be a misunderstanding.
What functions properly? Most users agree everything runs smoothly except occasionally. The feedback doesn’t mention mouse lag or frame stutters, but many mention those issues are common online. Regardless, the mouse lag and frame stutter problems—especially with v-sync off—are widespread. Just because friends don’t report them doesn’t mean others aren’t facing the same challenges. Experience varies because each system handles the game differently. Fallout 4 remains buggy, and patches are expected soon.
It's not about everyone facing the same issue just because some have videos about problems. You can't assume a game is bad if only a few people report issues while most don't.
Many players face similar challenges in Fallout 4, especially during its early days. While some struggle with bugs and known problems, others enjoy the game without issues. I need evidence that most PC gamers are experiencing fewer or no game-breaking bugs.
