Blurry display during gameplay, likely unrelated to common problems
I recently purchased a new PC and monitor, but I’m facing an issue where turning around in games—especially with slow panning or fast movements like flicks—results in a completely blurry display that strains my eyes after just a short time. Technology isn’t flawless, but it’s clearly much worse than before on any other system I’ve used. The gameplay becomes nearly unplayable, and I’m struggling to identify the cause.
This problem occurs with both monitors, whether I’m using a single screen or multiple displays. With the new PC, I’ve performed a clean Windows installation. I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers (also a fresh install), disabled hardware acceleration, and tested various game settings (high, low, with or without anti-aliasing, motion blur off, etc.). I even swapped out cables—DP cable with the new monitor, HDMI with the old one. The main difference between the monitors is that the older 60Hz model feels more sluggish, while the newer 144Hz one is a smooth experience. (Still a mess, but it’s one.)
For testing purposes, I kept frame rates steady at around 140 FPS when possible, and 120 in more demanding games.

Since I’m not a tech expert, I’m reaching my limit here. I really hope someone can assist me!
Thank you ahead of time and have a great day.
