Hi there! I'm trying to fix Bluetooth on my MacBook Pro 2020 after an update. My headset usually works, but it keeps disconnecting right after connecting. I've tried some guides that suggest removing a specific file and even resetting the Bluetooth settings, but nothing seems to work. I also checked with a friend who has a different model, but they have no Bluetooth options either. Any ideas?

Recent changes indicate macOS Monterey has altered certain Bluetooth settings on the option + click menu. I’ve terminated the bluetoothd process to reset it, which appears to restore functionality quickly. However, the issue continues in another manner—after connecting, it briefly recognizes audio output for a second before disconnecting from Bluetooth.

I'm dealing with the same problems after updating to Monterey 12.0.1 on a 2020 Intel Macbook Pro. My Sennheiser HD 350BTs work fine for music and videos, but during Zoom calls or when using apps that require the headphones' mic, they disconnect unexpectedly. They don’t reconnect until I switch the default input or restart the call, which forces me to use the Macbook's mic that picks up a lot of background noise. Sometimes I also experience issues where the headphones disconnect without warning, and I’m not sure what to do. The Bluetooth pairing seems to have been affected by this update.
