Bluetooth issues can stem from both hardware and software factors. Your BT mouse may be experiencing problems due to driver conflicts or outdated firmware, while the repeated disconnections with BT speakers suggest potential interference or compatibility issues. The fact that you're using Bluetooth 5.0 doesn’t guarantee stability—check your device drivers and ensure your motherboard supports the latest Bluetooth version. If the problem persists, test with a different device or network to isolate the source.

Perhaps it's true for everyone—though I haven’t seen one before—but I rely on a prebuilt HP Pavilion, and you’re right about the price reductions sometimes!

1. Open the motherboard management utility and install the most recent BIOS update. 2. Retrieve the newest Bluetooth firmware from the manufacturer’s official site. Your device->Support->Downloads

It's similar to Windows. I've worked with Bluetooth on Windows before. The performance isn't very good. Microsoft said they'd improve it with Windows 11, but it hasn't happened yet. It's so frustrating I stopped using Bluetooth on my Windows system. Now I connect the headset directly via a cable.

The BT module in your device influences both performance and stability. The model you mentioned functions exceptionally well.

My friend shared similar thoughts about his Surface. It’s unclear what WiFi cards they’re using. From my experience, Bluetooth works best on Windows 7 when paired with a cheap USB adapter from Amazon—around 85 to 90% of the time it functions well. Windows 10 performed poorly, and Windows 11 didn’t help much either. Besides connectivity problems, Windows often shifts to headset mode, which degrades audio quality. It could be the M.2 WiFi card on the motherboard or antenna positioning. Right now I’ve given up. I still use my HD4.50 wired with Windows and Bluetooth on my Mac.

I accept this, for my desktop I use a BT dongle. Even though it works fine for a while, it suddenly stops connecting without any reason. I realize it's not the dongle itself. I'm using Windows 10.

It seems like the issue might be with Windows 11.
