Bluetooth headset with MIC Voice and Game audio not supported.
Is there really no good way to get A2DP with Aptx and do audio output and support the headset's built-in mic? Is it because the bluetooth standard is messed up?

Do research before buying things? The only reason to get BT headphones is because you just don’t want wires, but if you want quality, you’d never use BT for audio. Personally, quality is more important than wireless, but if you want wireless, use Wi-Fi – loads more bandwidth and no problems.
The issue appears to stem from a fundamental incompatibility between Blizzard’s systems and modern Bluetooth headsets, exacerbated by Microsoft’s recent shifts in audio standards. Voice communication through the headset microphone doesn't translate correctly into the game, and game audio isn’t reliably outputted through the headset. It seems like a core problem with how Blizzard handles Bluetooth connectivity and audio routing, compounded by broader industry changes regarding audio protocols.
I use Discord on my phone while playing games. It’s unfortunate that it only works alongside people you know.
Get this, if you bind 2 sets of bluetooth headsets/earbuds to the PC Bluebooth, and set the default device for audio playback and recording, you can use the mic from one and do A2DP Aptx audio from the other and they both work. This is just stupid insanity! But there is no way in hell you can get it done on just one set. This kind of complication is unjustified, unless it was an intentional money grab.
