You can link your phone and laptop via Bluetooth, and use a laptop to relay notifications or music from your phone to your headphones. The laptop supports BT 5.x, which allows two connections, so it can handle the transfer. This way, you’ll stay connected even when using headphones while gaming.

You can't connect your laptop to a speaker for your phone, so you can't send the audio to another BT headset. Your Sennheiser HD 4.40 headphones (BT 4.1) work with two devices at once if they're already paired (like phone and desktop). They might be useful for you or worth buying another pair if needed. I really like them—they cost around $90 USD.

Okay so. I noticed your other thread. This is a forum, replies may take hours to come. It happens. Now.... First off, Not all Bluetooth 5 devices support 2 devices. That'd being said, You'd need a phone that broadcasts itself as an A2DP device. Pair your both devices with your laptop Select the headphones as the default listening device under audio settings ASSUMING your phone can BROADCAST as A2DP it will be listed under the Recording Tab in sound settings If the phone is there, right click the device, choose properties, choose the listen tab, and enable "Listen to this device" And even then this may not work depending on how the Bluetooth chip in your laptop handles bluetooth. Does it keep bluetooth 5 functionality a 4.x device is paired or does it down version itself to Bluetooth 4. So yeah, answer is maybe, but unlikely.

You can connect your phone's headphone jack to your laptop's microphone jack, choose "listen to this device," and it will stream your phone's audio via your standard headphones.

This seems like a more sensible idea.

It depends on the specific setup; some devices support it on both types, while others require a dedicated headphone/mic connection.

Likely requires a specific setup to switch the port to Mic mode, otherwise everything should work.

The feature isn't visible in your current settings. After connecting your phone, the audio may stop without showing a microphone icon in the sounds or playback list. Check the device settings or contact support for further help.

Do you have a cable designed for mic use? A standard 3.5mm cord works for audio but not for the mic, so you'll need one that specifically supports it. It might be a 4-pole adapter, though I'm not certain. There are also audio cords available with built-in mic connectors.

Hey! Your setup is just 3 poles—just need to get a 4-pole one. Thanks!
