Blue screen prevents removal of boot volume.

Some time ago, I accidentally dropped my laptop from a high spot. The next day, when I tried to start the computer, a blue screen appeared with the message "Unmountable Boot Volume." I'm using a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series with Windows 10. Need assistance!

If you attempt to install Windows on the second drive, there might be a chance to retrieve data from the damaged drive. This approach may not succeed. Good luck!

The drive could be damaged since it keeps spinning, and the ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment confirmed it functions properly.

Setting up an additional storage device and installing Windows on it can help preserve your data from the original drive. If the first drive isn<|pad|>, consider performing a fresh installation of Windows.
