Maybe they mean he's using a beta version of his computer. Why would you try that new program? Did you actually make sure your settings were current so the issue didn't happen again?

I tried fixing it again just like I did back when we had a new BIOS version.

okay, just checking. have you run this? Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool This download record installs the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool release 4.1.8.40, which is compatible with multiprocessor systems. www.intel.com As apart from guessing its often difficult to prove Motherboard is cause. So we check other things as well. listen to @ubuysa as they know what they talking about I am just assisting.

I ran this check and it got stuck right there while doing math with floats.

Oh yeah. I was hoping it was just RAM, but now it looks like your CPU might be broken. To check, try running Prime95 (https://www.mersenne.org/download/ ). Run all three tests—smallFFTs, largeFFTs, and Blend—for at least 2 hours each one if possible. You'll also need a temperature monitor, like CoreTemp (https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ ) because Prime95 will make your CPU get really hot. If Prime95 gives you errors, or if the computer starts BSODs, freezes, crashes, or gets too hot, then stop right there and tell us what happened.

minidump3.zip shared on dropbox. I used Prime95 for a while, but one run made my computer freeze. Later I tried again, then the blue light on the CPU started blinking when I clicked restart.

You probably need to swap out this CPU now, or just throw it away. The signs really point to a problem with it.

I bought a brand new CPU today and gave my old one back. I hope to find out by tomorrow whether it was all due to this or something else.

I ran prime95 once again and when it hit the CPU speed test, the whole computer froze. I think it means there is a sure-fire CPU problem. That specific glitch happened because of Ntfs.sys plus 7784 from the previous run.
