Blue Screen Help
Hello, I had a brief moment of guidance while exploring the internet. Suddenly the display went dark, with both keyboard and mouse lights extinguished, then it restarted automatically. Upon checking the Event Viewer, a Kernel Power Error appeared. After installing bluescreenview, I noticed a DMP file just a few seconds prior. The log entry reads: 030925-6062-01.dmp on 09-03-2025 at 04:03:21 with details about a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and a specific error code. The system reported a kernel error under the name "System" with a critical level, indicating possible issues like unresponsiveness, crash, or power loss. The event was recorded on March 9th, 2025, and included several technical keywords.
the addresses seem potentially valid kernel addresses, yet they failed to meet the requirements (not present in memory during the call). it's difficult to determine the exact reason for this instance. possible actions include deleting pagefile.sys to capture any corruption, and running memtest86 to verify memory timings. if overclock tools are installed, remove them. you could share the actual memory dump file for analysis of common issues. a malware scan might help identify corruption in pagefile.sys; i would simply delete the pagefile and start anew. you may also update the BIOS to obtain optimal default memory timings before configuring the memory profile and voltage, and then run memtest86. i am uncertain about the appropriate RAM command rate—bios sometimes has incorrect rates for certain ram types (for example, using 2T instead of the default 1T can lead to low error rates, similar to issues under voltage changes).
I completed memtest x86 with about 1.5 passes, then checked the cmd rate. My RAM is GSKILL Ripjaws, same timing as before.
