Blocks all my network completely.
I purchased the new Surface Pro about a month ago. It functioned well for the initial weeks, but once connected to my home network it would disable all devices. I ensured I had the latest Windows update and drivers, yet the problem persisted. I then installed a wireless USB adapter, turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth via BIOS, forcing connections only through the adapter. The issue remained. I tested the laptop with different routers, which worked fine, suggesting a potential conflict between my home router and the laptop’s settings. Could you help resolve this?
You're asking about optimizing your setup. I need to know your router model, current internet speed, and which devices are connected to understand how to proceed.
the connection doesn’t consume all the available bandwidth, making the wifi functional across all devices. despite the slow speed of 20mbps, phones, printers, and laptops stay linked. the router supplied by my ISP handles the traffic without dropping the signal.
Have you attempted a factory reset? Does the Surface Pro function well on alternative Wi-Fi connections?
