Block updates during sleep mode on Windows 10
I’m frustrated that Windows 10 started my PC from sleep and applied an update without warning. I want to prevent updates from installing when the system is in sleep mode, especially since active hours aren’t a valid workaround.
It's not recommended. WIn10 has design flaws and updates can't be blocked. The only option is to inform them you're using a metered connection, which might reduce performance.
It can be resolved using regedit. I faced the same issue before and discovered some files that suggested running regedit on various items, which later helped fix the problem. Sorry, I’m not sure what I changed since I don’t remember much.

When visiting the location it displays "not configured" instead of "enabled" or "disabled." This shouldn't be work group related; I assumed it was about settings. I learned from the task scheduler that it works, but some users with s-s-13 can't modify it.
This doesn't seem to be related to a restart happening while using it. It's actually occurring when the computer is idle.
