I never talked about it before—it was a major event. It felt just like any typical story you see in the news. If that counts as something significant, then it definitely did.

It was just for a single game. The Battle.net launcher serves more than just launching titles—it connects into a broader platform featuring remote chat, auction house management, and other services. You probably don’t understand its full capabilities or complexity. A 200MB size is reasonable, particularly given its role in handling multiple games and enabling interaction without needing the games themselves running.

lol, this is nothing, builder has a good example (though 8.1 update 1 reduced it to just under 6GB) also if your worried about the thing running in the background you can always kill the process to be sure

I enjoy the blizzard launcher. It works well for players with multiple blizzard titles.

Oh well, another angry comment from the lost tale. They say they use this battle.net launcher and it works great.

Great, those players with just one Blizzard title. It seems to open quickly. I appreciate the quick shortcuts, similar to most games out there.

Have you ever noticed the earlier Sc2 launcher? Or remember when Sc2 didn’t have a linker and just started with LOL?

The multi-program launcher you're referring to is the one that provides access to the Blizzard store.
