Blizzard Entertainment banned for contributing to charity.
Many gamers rely on Battle.net for their favorite titles, such as Destiny 2 and Overwatch. Recently I opened my phone and was shocked to see my account closed, with no chance for appeals or assistance. I had donated to charity and received Overwatch through that donation, redeeming it on Blizzard. After playing around 30 minutes, I was banned about a week later. I also donated to Humble Bundle. Blizzard hasn’t replied to my emails or messages, so I’m reaching out to LinuxTechTips for help getting this noticed! If you can share this with Linus!
It seems like you're questioning why this was posted in the first place. This could be one of the least suitable spots for sharing content.
You clearly understand why you weren't banned for giving. Humble Bundle isn't a charity, it's a shop that supports causes you pick. Stop fabricating tales.
Humble Bundle is a trusted platform, often collaborating with game developers like Blizzard for charitable initiatives. It seems Overwatch from HB shouldn't have triggered any response from Blizzard. There likely needs to be another explanation, otherwise this appears to be an error. Overwatch remains available through HB as part of their regular bundles: https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly I’d look up a contact number for Blizzard support to get more details about account issues. https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/pr...6/channels or the general support page. They probably wouldn’t simply close an account without clear reasons, which is unusual for a major company like Blizzard.
