I’m considering getting it as well. I’ve only played the other Splinter Cell games, but they’re all great. Blacklist is pretty solid, just not quite as strong as Chaos Theory, but close.

I enjoyed Blacklist a lot, though much of the writing was bad, the gameplay was great.

The latest Splinter Cell title I've tried is conviction, and it was worth the investment despite its brief runtime. I'm likely to try Blacklist soon, but right now I have too many games to play, so buying it now doesn't make sense.
